Florida Virtual School founders visit - PPS May 26

The two founders of Florida Virtual Schools will be at the BESC on May 26th from 9:30-11:00 to discuss online learning. On the agenda they will discuss;

1. How they worked with the Florida State legislature to build policy for a virtual school,
2. How they worked with teacher unions, and
3. the various financial aspects of a virtual school.
   

This will be a valuable time to collaborate with two 'pioneers' of online learning. I strongly encourage you as a stakeholder to attend. Please respond if you will be attending and if you will be bringing any others from your departments.
